Topshop’s new beauty buy, to be released in July, is a Freckle Pen. With a special marbleized formula, the pen ensures every fake freckle is as unique as a real one.
Beauty Consultant for Topshop, Hannah Murray, has previously used several make-up pens at a time to freckle Topshop’s model so this is a wonder pen for Topshop’s creative team as well as their shoppers.
Topshop has recently been emulating the fresh faced looked at their collection launches with these freckled models. Although ironic, the pen creates a new look for beauty followers to add to their repertoire.
Hopefully the freckle trend shows an acceptance of a wider variety of skin tones in the High Street Marketplace and is not a micro trend.
