The SS14 collection from Obi takes its inspiration from summer skies, shimmering water and sand between the toes.
Obi’s prints are once again central to the collection. Fabrics and colours are subtle with natural linens, silks and cottons in delicate shades of cream, charcoal, ink, and silver yet the collection is still being livened with pops of colour and edgy new shapes
The Dark Shadows print inspires edgy daywear - soft pants, panelled dresses and long-line skirts while the Summer Foliage silk cotton print features a stylised botanical design. The unforgettable Birds of a Feather botanical print is crafted into a stand out dress, easy shirt and fun tee and complementary shades of royal and silver combine on the Indian Blossom print with silky feel viscose caftans, tanks and carefree dresses.
Furthering the theme of fresh cut grass and ocean breakers the Wild Poppies print on soft chiffon features punchy hues of watermelon and flame on a cream ground while swirls of turquoise, citron and black combine in Tidal Storm with oversize knits, dresses and crop pants.
