Global fashion retail chain, Zara, is set to make its New Zealand appearance this weekend in the Milford Centre on Auckland’s North Shore.
Stocked exclusively at The Shop, the family run retail store is set to receive regular shipments of men’s, women’s and children’s clothes, direct from Spain.
Alongside the Zara brand, The Shop is also on the look out for young designers to feature in its store.
Talks to bring a Zara flagship store to New Zealand are still underway, with rumours that the retail giant is looking at real estate in the CBD.
"We need those brands. I remember when I came here in 2006, people said 'nobody goes to Auckland CBD to shop'. That's a load of rubbish. We have to provide a great shopping experience and I think we are," said Auckland design champion, Ludo Campbell-Reid.
