KIWI DESIGNER OPENS THIRD STORE

With 30 stockists across the country, it has been an exciting year of growth for New Zealand designer Ingrid Starnes. Ingrid Starnes' fragrance and beauty line has also picked up interest internationally in Hong Kong and Tokyo. Now the brand has expanded even further, but this time into Vulcan Lane in Auckland's CBD. This will be Starnes' third store and now neighbours the likes of Workshop and Gubb & Mackie. Starnes found she was drawn to Vulcan Lane as it has a very international city feel to it with the cobble-stones, heritage building and lovely arches. "We are so happy to be in a great retail area, so close to so many of our customers that work in the city," Ingrid Starnes said.

Starnes alongside her partner Simon do the fit-out of the stores together, however for this particular store they collaborated with Angus Dobson from Made By Design. "He brought some great ideas on materials and built the counters and hand-poured the concrete tops. He also made our dream of an arch built into the wall with floating shelves a beautiful reality," explained Starnes.

The new store will stock the new Spring collection 'This Is A True Story' which is heavily influenced by the 1970's. Paired with the label's lingerie and beauty lines as well as Kiwi jewellery line 08. Another highlight of the non-apparel range is Starnes' 4kg deluxe candles.

Their special Made-To-Measure service will be available by appointment. One of the main reasons Starnes choose this location was to make it easier for their corporate customers. Allowing them to purchase something beautiful and considered for their wardrobe whether it's off the rack or custom, they are now only just five minutes away.
