Bayfair Shopping Center unveils new development

Bayfair Shopping Centre is preparing for the opening of their new development, which has come just in time for Christmas.

The Bay of Plenty mall is undergoing a $115 million development, with the crucial first stage of the development coming to an end this December. Over 30 new stores will be opening in time for the Christmas rush and represent some of New Zealand’s most popular brands, including Peter Alexander, Seed Heritage and Cotton On.

Denise Haughey, General Manager of Seed Heritage expressed her excitement for their store’s involvement in this new development. “We are thrilled to be introducing Tauranga’s discerning, fashion-forward shoppers to our beautifully designed collections for women, teens, children and babies.”

Bayfair Shopping Centre will continue its development, with the final stages set to be complete in late 2019. The additions will include approximately 1,800 car park spaces and cycle parking, the Bay of Plenty’s largest cinema complex and up to eight new restaurants and casual food eateries.
