BLAHNIK ASIAN EXPANSION

The international footwear giant has teamed up with Bluebell Group to expand its presence in the Asian market, with sights on Japan, Singapore and Malaysia. Manolo Blahnik has plans to set up its first Malaysian flagship this September, with further plans to increase its presence in Toyko with the support of Bluebell.

Bluebell Group hold the distribution rights and manage retail development in Japan, Singapore and Malaysia, making them an invaluable business to partner with.

“Manolo Blahnik is a global brand, but with comparatively small distribution in Japan, Malaysia and Singapore. I have trust in Bluebell's guidance and experience, and appreciate their company family values that resonate with our own,” said Kristina Blahnik, chief executive officer, Manolo Blahnik International.

Currently, Manolo Blahnik has 290 retail location in 33 countries, with 11 stand-alone stores including two in Hong Kong and one in Seoul.
