Former Marks and Spencer’s executive, Scott Fyfe, has been appointed as Country Road Group’s new chief executive officer.
Fyfe will replace current CEO Matt Keogh in early 2017, who is resigning from the business to pursue new career opportunities. In the meantime, WHL Group CEO Ian Moir will work with the executive team.
“I would like to extend my warmest thanks to Matt who has made a significant contribution across our Group in Australia and South Africa over the past 11 years.” Moir said.
Scott Fyfe joins the Country Road Group after 20 year working for Marks and Spencer’s, where he worked in various buying, merchandising, sourcing, and directing roles.
“I am delighted to be joining the Country Road Group which has a portfolio containing some of Australia’s best-loved and most successful clothing and lifestyle brands.” Fyfe commented.
“This is a dynamic time to be in retail, and I am looking forward to the challenge ahead and living in Melbourne with my family.”
