Australian Department Store David Jones is reportedly on track to expand their New Zealand presence. The group is set to open a new holding in the currently under construction Westfield Newmarket store, which will be the country’s largest shopping complex.
According to a report released by Aaron Farguna, the retail director of David Jones, the new store will be located across two levels and 7000sqm. There will also be a recruitment drive which will see over 100 sales representatives, stylists and marketing specialists taken on.
The store is expected to open in mid-November and is reported to include interactive fitting rooms and a unique beauty hall, providing customers with a one of a kind shopping experience.
