A limited-edition pink sneaker has been released by Easy Spirit to support breast cancer research. Breast Cancer Awareness Month has seen an abundance of heart-warming support from various companies; Easy Spirit is one of them.
Easy Spirit's efforts to raise funds for breast cancer research is done in partnership with FFANY Shoes on Sale. FFANY Shoes on Sale is a charity that began as a shoe sale tent in Central Park in 1994. It calls for the generosity of shoe retailers and designers as well as consumers to help raise awareness and funds for breast cancer research. Since its birth, it is now the largest fundraiser in the footwear industry. In its 26th year this year, its collaboration with Easy Spirit produces a limited-edition pink sneaker called the "Move for Pink" sneakers. All proceeds will be donated to FFANY Shoes on Sale's efforts in funding cutting-edge breast cancer research.
The purchase of the "Move for Pink" sneaker will directly support Dr Lisa Newman. Dr Lisa Newman works at the Will Cornell Medicine/New York Presbyterian Hospital Network as Chief of the Division of Breast Surgery.
