The 2019 Interior Design Awards have announced their list of finalists, showcasing some of the most talented groups and individuals from across the country. Twenty-nine finalists have been shortlisted which include twenty-three projects, three students and three emerging designers who have already made their mark on the industry.
Retail fit outs have their own category in the competition and one unique fashion holding placed among the three finalists in the sector. Rodd & Gunn’s Chadstone store was listed as a finalist, as designed by Pennant & Triumph, and will move onto the final judging this month. The retail holding, which sits in the Chadstone Shopping Centre in Victoria, exemplifies the men’s fashion brand’s sleek and comfortable vibe. The store features a heavy use of warm woods and furs paired with black metal shelving, creating a chic contrast.
The final judging takes place from the 22nd to the 23rd of May and winners will take home a share of the $8,500 prize money.
