FEDERATION FOUNDERS IN COURT

Federation co-founders Nicholas James Clegg and Jenny Elizabeth Joblin are facing 13 charges which allege the pair filed erroneous paperwork while importing products. The charges carry a maximum penalty of six months jail time, or a fine of up to $10,000.

Clegg and Joblin have also been alleged with failing to comply with the Customs and Excise Act, which carries its own set of smaller fines.

The team have pleaded not guilty and intend on defending the charges.
