Grand Opening Announced for the Tauranga Crossing

One of New Zealand’s biggest retail developments is preparing for their grand opening. Stage Two of the Tauranga Crossing is set to be opened to the public on the 4th of April, and the district is celebrating.

An event will be held on the day of the grand opening, with live music, entertainment and some impressive giveaways being organised by the retail hub. The development will be launched by Greg Brownless, the mayor of Tauranga.

Steve Lewis, CEO of the Tauranga Crossing, released a statement celebrating the upcoming opening. “We’ve been working on Stage Two of the enclosed mall for some time now, and we are delighted to announce the official opening date and welcome people into their new mall. Tauranga Crossing is a retail destination for the people of Tauranga to be proud of and a place that visitors from across the country will want to experience.”

There are a number of firsts to both the country and the region being opened at the Tauranga Crossing including Edge Clothing, Bras N Things and Solect. These stores will join up to 80 additional retailers and 29 restaurants and eateries.
