Hallenstein Glasson record increase in sales

Hallenstein Glasson, a clothing retailer that owns Hallenstein’s menswear and Glasson's womenswear chains, revealed an increase in half-year sales and an expected rise in net profit. Sales in the period ending February 1st increased 3.1 percent compared to the corresponding period from the previous year.

The expected net profit is said to rise 6 percent in the next six months. Mark Goddard, the company CEO, said that the balance sheet for the group remains strong and stock levels continue to be well controlled.
