John Galliano's lawsuit for unfair dismissal against his two former employers Christian Dior SA and John Galliano SA was moved to the commercial court in 2013. The French labour court has now ruled against Galliano.
Galliano was fired from Dior and his namesake label, both owned by LVMH, after avery public anti-Semitic and racist rant in Paris in 2011. He was asking for damages between 2.4 million to roughly 13 million euros but now owes each winning party one symbolic euro as a result of the ruling. Aie!
