Local outdoor brand Icebreaker has opened its first store in Australia and can be found at the Sydney International Airport. AWPL, a travel retailer, has teamed up with the label to open the new concept store. The store features Icebreaker's range of merino wool apparel from socks to underwear to basics. The merino wool is sourced from over 180 stations along New Zealand's Southern Alps.
The Sydney Airport retail general manager, Glyn Williams, added that the they were delighted to bring Icebreaker into T1 International Departures. He said the new store further bolsters their selection of global brands and offers their customers the opportunity to shop an array of high-performance outdoor clothing.
