Kiwi innovation is taking over the world. New Zealand based buy-now-pay-later group Laybuy has continued to expand internationally, bringing their unique services to a wider variety of users.
The company has officially launched in the UK through the streetwear retailer Footasylum. This is only the first step for the brand, who have announced that they have signed approximately 100 additional UK merchants including eyewear brand Bailey Nelson and designer brand Karen Walker.
This is not the first international endeavour for the organisation, as they have also been made available through a range of Australian brands. Overseas, the brand competes against a selection of other buy-now-pay-later services including ClearPay and Klarna Bank AB. The brand insists however that their services are able to stand above the competition due to their interest-free services.
There are currently 375,000 users of Laybuy’s services in New Zealand alone, with over 3750 stores offering their unique payment methods.
