Introducing Levi's latest innovation, the Trucker Jacket with JacquardTM by Google.
The unisex jacket is an item of clothing that is easy to use with built-in technology that offers its wearer a toolkit of abilities. Using simple gestures to activate Google's smart technology, wearers can then access navigation, rideshare apps, weather and traffic reports, messaging, music and more.
Levi's smart trucker jacket will keep its customers connected while on the go. It even allows wearers to assign different abilities to different actions and alerts, all conducted through the Jacquard Tag, which is smaller than a stick of gum.
Worn for style and function, the Trucker jacket comes in two styles, the Classic Trucker and Sherpa Trucker, which seamlessly merge Levi's traditional style with Google's advanced technology.
Vice president of Levi Strauss & Co, Paul Dillinger said the company is excited to continue the collaborative journey with Google.
"Two years after we first launched Jacquard - the technology has become smaller and more discrete, more affordable and more useful. But the premise and purpose remain the same: you can keep your phone in your pocket and your eyes on the world around you, staying connected without being distracted," he said.
Levi's new jacket provides style, comfort and longevity and with new features added to the jacket regularly, the Trucker Jacquard can only get better with age.
