Deadly Ponies is opening the doors of it's first Wellington store today at 10am. This will be their fourth store by the luxury leather label alongside their two Auckland stores and one in Christchurch. Each store displaying similar themes through the Brancusi-inspired installations using a range of materials. Liam Bowden worked with popular interior designer Katie Lockhart to create his new store. Bowden says designing his stores has become one of his favourite parts of the job.
“We have an amazing customer base in Wellington and they have been asking us to open a store down here for a long time. I am looking forward to rewarding their patience by opening our most amazing store yet in the heart of Wellington’s most creative quarter,” said Bowden.
The store can be found at 28 Ghuznee Street and will feature an exclusive handbag designed especially for the launch called Mr Fur Stitcher.
