A FUTURISTIC 70s LOOK

Working with designer Trelise Cooper at New Zealand Fashion Week, M.A.C. Cosmetics pulled off a futuristic-chic look with a sweet, natural lip colour and bold holographic-type, white eyeshadow on the lids. Lead makeup artist, Liz Hyun, made the models look glowing and gorgeous with this stylish look. This look used a Matte Bronze bronzing powder under the cheekbones, the Pinch O Peach powder blush, and Soft Frost Extra Dimension Skinfinish highlighter applied on the high points of cheekbones.

For the eyes, a Gesso eyeshadow was used on top, and In Extreme Dimension mascara in 3D Black to add full volume on the lashes. Fascinating Eye Kohl to line the eye, and Omega eyeshadow and clear brow set on brows. Following this, the look was polished off with Oh Honey! Pro Longwear lip pencil with Honeylove lipstick over the top.

Combining the latest fashion styles with a dramatic flair, L’Oréal Professionnel Ambassadors Grand Bettjeman and Sasha Lenski worked with Cooper on the hair. This year the simple, a beachy pony-tail was exaggerated with pearlised colour stencils for added drama. The hair was first prepped by texturising with Tecni.Art Crepage de Chignon Mineral Powder Fixing Spray and Tecni.Art Super Volume Powder. Fixed by spraying with Infinium Fort Hairspray and Tecni.Art Air Fix Fixing Spray. Finalising the look, spray stencils on front section with L’Oréal Paris Colorista 1-Day Colour Spray.
