M.A.C Supports World AIDS Day

M.A.C Cosmetics leant their support to World AIDS Day on December first, with multiple retail and promotional endeavours launched by the brand to raise crucial funds.

Their efforts included an annual spring clean for local AIDS organizations and makeup artists taking to the street to collect donations in participating cities around the world. M.A.C also looked on their consumers to help make a difference on World AIDS Day, with a call out to “TEXT VIVAGLAM” to 849 to make an instant donation to the NZ AIDS Foundation.

M.A.C New Zealand shows it's support for AIDS organizations all year round with a consumer-based model of donation. 100 percent of the revenue from sales of their VIVA GLAM Lipstick is donated to New Zealand communities which support those struggling with HIV/AIDS.

This year saw over $2.8 million raised by M.A.C New Zealand, before their increased efforts on World AIDS day, and over $117,000 in grants provided by the company to local organizations.
