MASTERTON INDEPENDENT CLOSES

Business owners, Janice and Trevor McKeown have closed their Queen Street menswear store, Intersection after 15 years in business. Janice and Trevor said the decision to close was a lifestyle choice, given Trevor is now 70.

“You need to be enthusiastic to be able to work in retail. We have always tried to make the customer feel like the most important person in the world. The gap that will occur now will be quite significant, but for us, it’s time to move on any enjoy life,” said Trevor.

Intersection was set up following the closure of Hallensteins in 2001, and purchased by the couple in 2003.
