A new version of the award-winning ThingWorx Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) solution platform has been made available. ThingWorx 8.4 introduces new capabilities, including Operator Advisor, designed to increase the productivity of factory workers by simplifying the way critical operational data is collected, synthesised, and delivered. The new version works on collaborating data and organising product genealogy while workers perform other tasks. Jay Drager, director of Global Business Systems, Woodward, said, “ThingWorx has brought all our various systems together and makes the data from those actionable for our workers. Not only have we been able to improve the quality of our products, but we’ve also increased efficiency and productivity across our facilities as well.”
