New Zealand Designers show support for You Are Us/Aroha Nui

The nation is preparing to come together for You Are Us/Aroha Nui, a concert to raise money for the victims of the Christchurch terror attack. Support has been shown from a range of industries across the country, and the New Zealand fashion sphere has announced their contribution.

Top designers from throughout the country have come together to create a selection of beautiful prints to celebrate love and diversity. Brands including Karen Walker, Zambesi and Harman Grublsa have created individual designs which will be sold at the upcoming concerts and proceeds being donated to the Our People, Our City Fund.

Artist Ruby Jones has also released a design as well as a statement unpacking the message behind the print. “This design represents us growing closer as a nation, moving forward from the Christchurch attacks. A greater closeness, a greater openness to others, which I hope will not fade into a moment, but instead will bind us to a national identity we can truly be proud of.”
