Nike debuts new technology

With this update, users can measure their feet and find their perfect size using an augmented reality feature. The feature aims to reduce size uncertainty in consumers, which is a prominent issue, particularly for online shoppers. Users can now be assured that the size they select will exactly fit their unique feet, rather than being an estimation.

Nike has shared the feature is more than just a glorified camera; it can measure each foot individually and takes into consideration size, shape and volume. The app has an accuracy of within two millimetres, and the brand is so confident in its abilities that the features will be integrated into the brand’s brick and mortar establishments as the primary tool for helping customers find their right fit.
