NO MORE PLASTIC

International footwear giant, Adidas, has announced it will no longer be using plastic bags in its standalone stores. The decision has been tied to the events of Earth Day and has the potential to eliminate as many as 70 million shopping bags per year.

“Phasing out shopping plastic bags is part of our wider effort to constantly increase the use of more sustainable materials in our production, products and stores, as we recently announced with our newly launched 2020 Sustainability Strategy,” said Roland Auschel, global sales executive, Adidas.
