International cosmetics and skincare brand Revlon has made an impressive leap towards diversifying their company. The brand has appointed their first ever female CEO, which is a massive step in the right direction for the business.
Debra Perelman will replace the company's previous holder of the position, Fabian Garcia, effective immediately after he stepped down from the role in January. Perelman has been working with Revlon for 20 years in various positions, most recently as their chief operating officer. Revlon has joined the likes of Anastasia Beverly Hills, Givenchy and Kylie Cosmetics, who have all embraced a female CEO, and have won favour with socially conscious consumers.
Perelman is the daughter of Ronald Perelman, the board chairman of Revlon.
