Chin loves working with Swarovski crystals, freshwater pearls, and semi-precious stones. Paua is also a material of choice due to its iridescent colours and New Zealand feel. Surrounded by colour and beautiful beads, jewellery making is relaxing and allows Chin to express her creativity.
Each piece of RO Design Jewellery is individually handcrafted in Wellington and the beads are sourced from New Zealand suppliers. RO Design Jewellery has changed over the years, from elegant beads like freshwater pearls on floating necklaces, to chunky colourful designs, then back to simple chain and pendant looks.
Chin’s goal is to continue to create jewellery for women to look and feel great every day, and not just for those special occasions. Her challenge is to grow the business while maintaining a personal touch to bring unique designs to fashion conscious woman.
