Sylvia Park’s answer to customers parking troubles

With the Christmas rush about to hit, shoppers will be faced once again with the trials and tribulations of finding a car park at an overcrowded mall.

New Zealand’s biggest shopping centre Sylvia Park has announced new developments and a range of parking alternatives to make sure their customers spend the day shopping rather than circling for a park.

New Development

To combat overcrowding, Sylvia Park has announced the opening of a new car park building which holds 600 new spots.

The building provides easy access to the ground floor of the centre and includes spaces for parents with prams, 12 accessible parks and seven Typle 2 EV charging stations for those with electronic vehicles.

The building will be open to the public from 9.00am on Friday 30th November 2018.

Valet Parking

Located by the entrance to Glassons and Hallensteins is an elite valet car parking service, perfect for shoppers who do not have the time to search for a park.

The valet team will park any vehicle and hold it for three hours for only $10 and $5 for each additional hour.

The service is available from Thursday to Sunday from 10.00am in the lead up to the holiday season. From the 13th of December to Christmas day the service will operate every day to give last-minute shoppers the chance to take advantage of the opportunity.
