Australian retailer The Iconic has diversified its portfolio by welcoming one of the most popular American Lifestyle retailers to their folds. Abercrombie & Fitch Co. will be arriving in Australia via The Iconic, where they have been noticeably absent since 2015.
Customers of The Iconic will have access to a selection of the retailer’s brands, including Abercrombie Kids, Hollister Co. and Abercrombie & Fitch.
Marelie Osthus, chief category management officer at The Iconic, released a statement celebrating their collaborations with the American retailer. “With over 1000 existing brands on site and a huge 60,000 plus product assortment, we are incredibly excited to welcome Abercrombie & Fitch, Abercrombie Kids and Hollister Co. to The Iconic family, offering our shoppers even greater brand and product diversity.”
Abercrombie & Fitch Co. president, Kristen Scott, released a similar statement praising the new partnership. “As we continue to grow our brands globally, this partnership with The Iconic, is a great opportunity for us to connect with new customers and have them experience our high quality, on-trend product,” she articulated. “We look forward to our launch on The Iconic and providing local access of our brands to both existing and new fans in the Australian and New Zealand markets.”
