twenty-seven names – Going Pro – Winter 2019 Capsule

This iconic New Zealand brand presents an elegant reimagining of a psychedelic 70s look in their latest capsule collection. The range blends oversized silhouettes with crisp colours and a bold floral print to create a striking but chic mini collection.

Inspired by an article written by Mackenzie Wagoner on the women changing the face of skate boarding, the winter collection riffs on the idea of going out and asking for exactly what you want, as well as learning how to fall. We connected with the idea of these women working so hard for so long, and how the industry seems to be finally opening up to them (and the young woman who follow).

We started with a palette of pink and red, and added some BDE (Big Daisy Energy) with a custom print viscose. But the piece de resistance is really our Psychedelic puffer - or as I like to call it, Puff the Magic Jacket. Hide in plain sight with the cat camo print, digitally printed in Wellington and made in Auckland with recycled Primaloft fill.
