Vans first ever signature style

Footwear giant Vans has unveiled a signature model of their classic skate shoe. This is the first time the brand has created a signature version of their footwear, and they have chosen global skate team rider Elijah Berle as their inspiration.

This new sneaker has been released as the Berle Pro and provides a unique in-built cushioning, board control and responsive grip which will improve and reimaging the boundaries of skate progression. The innovations have been dubbed Waffle Control, inspired by the waffle sole which has been designed with the perfect level of depth to allow for optimum grip and stability.

This innovative piece of footwear has combined technical excellence with a stylish flair, including shapes and colours which complement Berle’s skate uniform. Features of the design include a new medial gum rubber on the toe and heel, providing greater durability as well as a more shapely appearance.

The range comes in three signature colours: red, blue and black. Berle sports the red edition in the brand's campaign, which pop nicely against the urban background.
