Ahead of the upcoming 2018 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, the lingerie brand has announced this year’s designer collaboration will be with Mary Katrantzou – the ‘Queen of Prints’. Known for stunning prints, vibrant colours and feminine designs, Katrantzou has long been a favourite among celebrities including Rihanna, Cate Blanchett and Beyoncé as well as at London Fashion Week.
“Everything that Victoria’s Secret creates is about a woman feeling confident and empowered – and also having fun with what she is wearing. This collaboration is going to be bold, fun and playful,” said Katrantzou.
The designs set to make their debut on the runway at this year’s show is the Victoria’s Secret x Mary Katrantzou capsule collection. Following the airing of the show, the designer pieces will be available for purchase in-store and online in time for the holidays.
Victoria’s Secret’s collaboration this year marks its second partnership with a top fashion brand for its annual runway. The first collaboration was with Olivier Rousteing of Balmain in last year’s show.
