New Zealand prepares to welcome Adore Beauty

New Zealand is preparing to welcome one of Australia’s most prominent names in cosmetics. Adore Beauty has announced that they will be launching in New Zealand in early 2019, which will mark the brand’s first overseas expansion. Sales for the company have increased threefold in the past two years, inciting their international endeavour.

The brand’s penetration of New Zealand will come in the form of a localised e-commerce site and expansive local campaigning to increase Kiwi’s awareness of the label. Kate Morris, CEO of Adore Beauty, revealed that while they have always shipped overseas, their new development will make the experience more ideal for international customers. The company has partnered with Borderfree, a tech solution organisation, to allow their overseas consumers to see different currencies, payment methods and taxes specific to their location.

This opening in New Zealand is the first step in the brand’s plan to expand across the world and, according to Morris, marks their “reopening of international generally.” Adore Beauty is expected to exceed $100 million in sales this year.
