NORTHLAND DESIGNER REQUEST

Organisers of the Bernina Northland Fashion Awards are looking to reach 100 entries into this year’s competition, with hopes its two new categories will attract different creative visions. For the seventh time, the Rotary Club of Whangarei will organise the awards which are being held in August at Forum North, with the competition in its 39th edition.

The two new categories, Steam Punk and Retro-redesign, are set to bring in new visionaries and add a new layer to the competition.

Last year the awards drew entrants from as far north as Kaitaia, with each consecutive year seeing the competition grow to new strengths. Entries close on July 8, with the awards show being held on August 18.
