NZ Fashion Week designer’s announced:

New Zealand Fashion Week has officially announced its designer line up for 2014, with a bevy of high profile names and up and coming designers from both New Zealand and overseas set to take centre stage on the catwalk come August.

The highly anticipated event will be held at the ANZ Viaduct Events Centre and will run from Tuesday August 26th to Friday August 29th.

NZFW welcomes back industry heavyweights including Trelise Cooper, Kate Sylvester, Juliette Hogan, Zambesi and NOM*d who will debut their Autumn/Winter 2015 Collections at the annual event.

There are many designers' who are making their NZFW debut including Auckland based designer Lucy McIntosh, Napier based label Pardon My French and SHEN who will show as part of the New Generation Show.

2014 marks a significant milestone for a number of our leading designers, including Zambesi who will celebrate 35 years in the business and Kate Sylvester celebrating her 21st anniversary, as well as Taylor Boutique who will celebrate 15 years, Juliette Hogan who will celebrate 10 years and Celine Rita celebrating her first milestone of 5 years.

NZFW Managing Director Dame Pieter Stewart is thrilled to have such a terrific line up of designers and said that more could be added in the weeks leading up to the event.

"Every year the NZFW line-up changes as designers evaluate their marketing strategies and how showing at NZFW fits with their business objectives, so it's great to have some of the better-known designer's back. It shows the industry is strong and united and that's the sense we're getting this year, a renewed confidence from designers and the industry as a whole," Stewart says.

"Its also great to have such a talented group of new designers coming through the ranks and one show in particular i'm looking forward to it Miromoda, with some fantastic designers set to grace the catwalk in what is sure to be a highlight of the week".

NZFW is also pleased to announce that for the first time Stolen Girlfriends Club will have a public show, which will no doubt draw in fashion loving crowds. The Resene Designer Selection shows will run each day from Wednesday though Saturday and  NZFW's popular seminars will be held on Saturday 20 and Sunday 31 of August.
