Take Control Now: ghd Pink Campaign

400 Kiwi Women under the age of 44 are diagnosed with breast cancer each year. 9 Women will be diagnosed today. With the statistics so high, 90 percent of 19-35 year-old women check their breasts only a few times a year (or less). However, women, on average, spend over 20 hours a month on their hair.

ghd is celebrating their 16 years of supporting breast cancer charities globally with a limited-edition Take Control Now collection. ghd has partnered with 11 incredible women who were diagnosed with breast cancer before the age of 35 to share the message that it's time to donate some mirror time (that you would normally spend doing your hair) to check your breasts.

$20 from every sale from the Pink collection goes to Breast Cancer Foundation NZ. The collection will include the award-winning ghd platinum+ styler, ghd gold stylers and the new helios hairdryer in a gorgeous shade of dusty pink embossed with the campaign message "Take Control Now".
