TOPSHOP AUSTRALIA TO BE REVIVED BY ARCADIA GROUP

After falling into receivership, it has been claimed that Topshop/Topman Australia will work with parent organisation Arcadia Group, in a bid to revive the Australian business. James Stewart from financial advisory and restructuring group Ferrier Hodgson has claimed that after discussions with  Sir Philip Green and the Arcadia team, administrators are looking at a restructure that would involve the UK parent group taking a controlling lead in the Australian side of the business. Currently, the Australian division of Topshop/Topman has 760 employees and operates in nine stores, 17 Myer concessions and online.
