For HUAWEI's P10 series launch, they teamed up with New Zealand's very own Zambesi. The new P10 series is a combination of modern design and the latest technology to create a stylish smartphone for consumers. For the launch, Zambesi designed a bespoke collection inspired by the P10 colour palette in collaboration with Pantone Colour Institution. “For this exciting collaboration, we have taken inspiration from the new Huawei P10 colour palette and created looks to complement the modern aesthetic embodied in the phones,” said Elizabeth Findlay, Zambesi designer.
The P10 series will be available in 8 colours; DazzlingBlue, Dazzling Gold, Prestige Gold and Graphite Black.
are all currently available in New Zealand with the others set to follow. Each smartphone has been crafted in a high-quality metal which repels fingerprints and has a subdued reflection.
HUAWEI have included the world's first Leica Front Camera. It is tailored to taking selfies as it automatically adjusts to wide angle mode when multiple people are in the shot. Equipped with studio-like lighting, dynamic illumination, beautifying affects and a new bokeh camera effect which makes foreground images vibrant whilst blurring the background.
Charging time is faster and battery life is made longer and the support of 4.5G networks allows a quick and stable connection. The navigation bar is replaced by an under glass sensor which reduces the risk of the screen cracking by up to 80 percent. However, if the phone screen does crack HUAWEI offers a three-month screen replacement guarantee.
The P10 series for the first time offers the ability to select Te Reo Māori as a standardised language option.
The Huawei P10 and P10 plus offer 64GB + 4GB RAM of memory.
