H&M has announced another designer collaboration with Rabanne, a trendsetter on the French fashion scene.
Rabanne has had some era-defining creations since the 60s and was given new life in 2013 when Julien Dossena took over as creative director.
“Rabanne’s metallic dresses are instantly recognisable pieces of fashion history. We’re thrilled to bring a dazzling array of Rabanne designs to our customers with this sensational collaboration,” said Ann-Sofie Johansson, head of design womenswear and creative advisor at H&M.
The party-ready collection was announced at Silencio nightclub in Paris with stars like Cher, Peggy Gou, Irina Shayk, Elle Fanning, Ashley Graham, Tina Kunakey, Jared Leto, Damson Idris and Alton Mason in attendance.
“As a designer, I’ve always been interested in exploring hedonism and empowerment. I was very enthusiastic to work with H&M on a collection that will introduce Rabanne’s avant-garde energy to a wider audience in a democratic way,” said Julien Dossena, creative director of Rabanne.
The Rabanne H&M collection includes womenswear, menswear, shoes, accessories, and an H&M home decor capsule, launching this November.
