Levi’s and NIGO have just launched their latest collaborative collection as what will be their 3rd instalment following previous releases over the past two years.
NIGO, one of the world's most influential streetwear pioneers, is renowned for his expansive personal collection of rare vintage Levi’s, which has heavily inspired this new two-piece collection.
Using the past as its reference book, the collection features a pair of Hickory Stripe 501 jeans and a 557XX Hickory Stripe Trucker Jacket inspired by the original Hickory Stripe 501 jean NIGO first came across at a vintage store in 1995.
The archival influence behind the collection helps to commemorate the 150th anniversary of Levi’s 501 jean, one of the most iconic pieces of clothing ever created, making for a momentous milestone for Levi’s and NIGO. Each piece from the collection comes with a special edition Levi’s x NIGO 150th anniversary tote bag and co-branded hangtag.
The Levi’s x NIGO collection launches worldwide today (April 6th, 2023) and will be available to purchase in select Levi’s stores and on both Levi’s and HUMANMADE official websites.
