New Technology Provides Cooling and Long-Lasting Shape Retention

Model in apparel made from LYCRA DUAL COMFORT technology

The LYCRA Company, a global leader in fibre and technology innovations for the textile and apparel industry, announced the launch of LYCRA DUAL COMFORT technology for ready-to-wear (RTW) and wovens. This latest innovation incorporates functionality and sustainability tailored to today’s consumers needs and wants.

LYCRA DUAL COMFORT technology enhances garment wearing experiences by providing cooling comfort and long-lasting shape retention. The secret ingredient is the new LYCRA T400. A EcoMade fibre made from both recycled and renewable materials which give garments the texture of spun yarn and offers thermal comfort.

The company’s latest innovation caters to the needs of cross-segment apparel categories – workleisure or outleisure.

“Fabrics which offer versatile solutions can take the consumer from working hybrid to running daily errands or just a stroll in the park. The term ‘new utility’ has become a buzzword for defining lightweight apparel, combining everyday practicality and urban elegance using low-impact materials,” said Ebru Ozaydin, strategic marketing director at The LYCRA Company.

LYCRA DUAL COMFORT technology allows consumers to embrace a casual, comfortable lifestyle and elegance simultaneously in a sustainable fashion.
