Leading sports brand, PUMA, launched a special panel discussion ahead of the 2023 Formula 1 season to celebrate its motorsport history.
The panel was the first of a series of events planned by the brand to commemorate its 75th anniversary.
PUMA's rich history in motorsport goes back to 2001, when Jordan Grand Prix became the first Formula 1 racing team that the brand supplied with footwear and clothing.
Since then, PUMA has collaborated with many leading motorsport figures, including Lewis Hamilton and Michael Schumacher. The brand has also produced products for trailblazing teams like Scuderia Ferrari, Red Bull Racing and Mercedes-AMG Petronas F1.
The event was held in Bahrain on March 1. Featuring a panel of motorsport experts, and Noemi de Miguel, a sports journalist and television presentor for DAZN, the panel talk explored PUMA's milestones in the sport, discussed racing products from different eras, and spoke about what motorsport represents today.
"PUMA is proud to celebrate its 75th anniversary this year and also our legacy in motorsport industry," commented global director of motorsport at PUMA, Thomas Josnik.
"Innovation, speed and technology have always been at the heart of everything we do, and this event is a tribute to our commitment to pushing boundaries and driving change in the industry."
The event marked the first step of PUMA's celebration of its 75th anniversary, highlighting the brand's commitment to excellence and innovation in racewear.
