MADE ANNOUNCES EXCLUSIVE SYDNEY EVENT

MADE will be paying tribute to the close relationship between the fashion industry and skateboarding culture with a new Sydney event this November.
The event, MADE Sydney presented by Mercedes-Benz, will take place at the Carriageworks from November 11-13, and will feature the first ever fashion show by creative collective Faith Connexion.
Faith Connexion will also be working exclusively with MADE to design a replica of legendary San-Francisco based skating spot, Hubba Hideout.
The replica will serve as the runway for Faith Connexion’s debut show on November 12, before opening up for public use, and Sydney’s first ever Style + Skate amateur competition on November 13.
Partners Mercedes-Benz will also be present at the event, managing Australia’s first Benz Bar hospitality pop up.
MADE Sydney will kick off with the world premiere of a new documentary about the beloved photographer, Slim Aarons – The High Life: Slim Aarons – on November 11th.
“Sydney is a place where fashion and sports intertwine.” Said Barnett Zitron, VP and managing director of MADE. “At MADE Sydney presented by Mercedes-Benz, we’re building a physical manifestation of the fashion industry’s love affair with skate and street culture.”
