After over 30 years of shared history and era-defining looks, adidas and Oasis have announced their new ‘Original Forever’ campaign and exclusive Oasis Live ‘25 apparel collection.
Created by Johannes Leonardo with director Leigh Powis (ProdCo), the ‘Original Forever’ campaign film celebrates adidas and Oasis’ lasting connection.
Set to the soundtrack of ‘Live Forever’, the breakout track from Oasis’ debut album Definitely Maybe (1994) and representing the first time the track has been heard commercially, there are iconic moments from Knebworth to Heaton Park, building to a crescendo of Noel and Liam Gallagher together waiting in the wings, ready to take on 2025.
Over 300 extras were then street cast from around the UK by Good Catch, focusing on those who authentically embody both brands’ style and legacy. The campaign is supported by an accompanying adidas Originals x Oasis Live ‘25 apparel collection, presenting looks from the ‘90s that have been reimagined for today.
In the 90s, the adidas tracksuit and trainers were integral to a quintessentially British look that became synonymous with the band.
The roots of this look originated from the football terraces of the UK, and Oasis, who were lifelong fans of both football and adidas, naturally adopted this style.
Taking inspiration from the styles that Oasis immortalised, the adidas Originals x Oasis Live ‘25 collection features a co-branded 26-piece range of timeless adidas staples in various colours.
It also includes Firebird tracksuits (a favourite of Noel’s), raglan sleeve jerseys (iconically worn by Liam in a ’90s charity football match), bucket hats and coach jackets (a style featured on Liam in the ad).
The adidas Originals x Oasis Live ‘25 collaboration officially launches on the 1st of October, in anticipation of Oasis' arrival in Australia at the end of the month.
