Angelina Jolie Partners With Chloé For First Collection

Angelina Jolie leans over table with Gabriela Hearst

Angelia Jolie has given us a glimpse into her new fashion label. Late last month, actress and humanitarian announced the launch of Atelier Jolie, a fashion-focussed initiative with a difference. Jolie has now revealed that her first partnership under the new label will be with Chloé.

Jolie and Gabriela Hearst, Chloé’s current creative director, have co-designed a capsule to be presented alongside the spring/summer 2024 collection in October. The capsule spotlights authentic women-to-women connections. The house has revealed there will be a focus on eveningwear defined by fluid silhouettes and tactile details, inspired by Jolie's red-carpet style on offer.

"From the moment I heard about Angelina’s vision for Atelier Jolie, I believed in it," expressed Hearst. "It is a way to elevate others through the beauty of garment-making and her deep respect for the environment."

Parts of the collection will showcase the work of artisans from a Fair Trade enterprise, and will spotlight female-led social enterprises. This aligns with the mission of Atelier Jolie, which is aiming to democratise the fashion industry and shine a light on those behind the scenes. In addition to this, multiple looks will be made from deadstock and lower-impact materials, showcasing why Chloé made the perfect partner for this collection.

"Very few luxury brands are a certified B Corp," said Jolie of her decision to collaborate with the brand. "It was important to me to work with Chloé, one of the first luxury brands to be a B Corp. It has been a privilege to design with Gabriela Hearst, and I hope all women will feel comfortable and beautiful in this capsule collection."

Jolie’s earnings from the collaboration will be invested into establishing apprenticeships at Atelier Jolie for artisans and tailors.
