Apple announced that LVMH executive Patrick Pruniaux will be joining the team working on the Apple iWatch. Pruniaux was scounted for his previous experience as vice-president of sales at Tag Heuer. He will be joining the silicone valley team along with former Burberry CEO Angela Ahrendts and former YSL CEO Paul Deneve. It's clear that Apple is investing substantially in both the functionality and appearance of its wearable technology following the less than ideal consumer reaction to competitor Google Glass.

The Apple iWatch is set for release later this year.
