Monique Kaminski’s mother had worked in cosmetics, and from an early age, she remembers seeing her dresser filled with all sorts of beautifully packaged creams, which sparked a lot of interest.

“It was exciting trying the samples and new products, and I was aware early on that in our very busy household of seven, this was her special moment of self-care each day,” Kaminski explained.

From there, she found a love for skincare products and through an opportunity Shopify had presented to enable people to start an ecommerce business, Kaminski decided to start her very own skincare brand, Jeuneora.

However, prior to skincare, Jeuneora sold supplements all the way back in 2016. As glowing skin starts from within, it made sense to Kaminski to sell marine collagen supplements, which have been said to support the health and appearance of your hair, skin and nails. This product still remains one of her best sellers to date.

“Our sustainably sourced, one hundred percent natural, filler-free supplements are carefully formulated to support a wide range of health and beauty concerns,” she said.

In 2021, Jeuneora skincare was launched. The brand is designed to give you the happiest skin yet by pairing innovative active ingredients with nourishing botanicals to deliver highly effective skincare that’s suitable for all skin types, even sensitive.

What makes her label unique is that every product is designed to not only be effective in what it claims to do but also an incredibly enjoyable experience for customers. Kaminski believes it is essential to carve out those moments in your day to create self-care moments that bring joy and make you both feel and look great.

Sustainability is also at the heart of everything they do. They are proud to be a B Corp Certified business meaning they are part of a global community that meets high standards of social and environmental performance, along with obtaining accountability and transparency.

“Currently, there are only around five thousand certified B Corps globally, and we are extremely proud to be one of them,”

She has also created the Jeuneora Giving program, where for every order, a dollar is given to three specific charities of her choice.

The inspiration for the products is found in reflecting the wants and needs of both their audience and the team of nine at Jenoura by asking what is missing from their daily skincare routines and what they believe their skin needs.

Kasmiski’s advice to her younger self would be, don't sweat the small stuff. Focus on what you can change and control, and you will be okay. Some of her biggest life lessons have come from her failures, and she can now proudly say from there, she has been able to build her own successful brand organically from the ground up.
