Big brand sues copycat

Luxury fashion brand Louis Vuitton is in the process of suing a Hong Kong company for allegedly copying one of their latest footwear designs.

The group under fire is Belle International, who has been accused of replicating the group’s LV Archlight design, a popular variety for the label. Both sneakers bare significant similarity, with almost identical colour blocking on the nose and suede detailing on the sides. The sneakers are valued at approximately USD $1140.

While the trial date is yet to be set, Louis Vuitton has publicised their demands of the accused Chinese company. The group is insisting that they stop any and all copyright infringements and destroy any existing copies of the footwear.
