Designed for Land, Trail & Water

Teva has expanded its For Playground Earth platform with a new lineup of performance and lifestyle footwear designed to support exploration across land, trail and water.

The collection reflects the brand’s continued focus on balancing technical performance with everyday wearability. Drawing on its heritage as the creator of the original sport sandal in 1984, Teva’s latest offering combines updated materials, improved traction systems and refined silhouettes intended to keep pace with modern outdoor lifestyles.

“For Playground Earth” sits at the centre of the brand’s direction. More than a campaign line, the platform reflects Teva’s broader philosophy of encouraging people to get outside and reconnect with the environments around them. From spontaneous everyday adventures to more ambitious outdoor pursuits, the AW26 collection is designed to support movement across nature’s many playgrounds.

“Since launching For Playground Earth, Teva has come full circle to our outdoor roots as a heritage brand providing footwear solutions for the modern-day adventurer,” said Lee Cox, Global VP and GM for Teva. “The 2026 collection celebrates that mission, creating functional, performance-driven footwear that empowers people to move freely and explore nature’s diverse playgrounds with curiosity and joy.”

A key focus of the collection is the continued evolution of Teva’s Hurricane range, one of the brand’s most recognisable product families. Originally introduced in the early 2000s, the silhouette has become a long-standing staple within the Teva lineup. For AW26, the range is refreshed with new technologies and construction updates that enhance cushioning, improve grip and introduce more protective closed-toe formats designed for rugged outdoor conditions.

Trail performance also plays a significant role in the new collection through the expansion of the Aventrail line. Developed from Teva’s trail running innovation, the styles combine responsive cushioning, adjustable strapping systems and durable traction designed to handle a variety of surfaces. Updated colourways inspired by sunlit trails and summer landscapes bring a lighter visual energy to the performance category while maintaining the functional design language that defines the range.

Water-focused adventures are addressed through the Hydratrek collection, which takes inspiration from nature to inform its grip and stability. Outsole patterns influenced by tree frog traction aim to provide secure footing across wet rocks and slippery surfaces, while quick-drying materials and protective constructions allow the footwear to transition easily between land and water environments.

Alongside these more technical ranges, Teva is also revisiting one of its most recognisable silhouettes with a refreshed take on the Tirra. The updated design maintains the supportive structure that made the original a favourite while refining the fit and comfort for contemporary outdoor use.

Across the AW26 lineup, Teva continues to position itself at the intersection of performance innovation and lifestyle versatility. By building on decades of outdoor expertise while introducing new technologies and silhouettes, the brand is reinforcing its commitment to creating footwear that encourages people to explore, move and reconnect with the natural world.

The result is a collection that captures Teva’s enduring philosophy: adventure does not always require a mountain summit or a remote expedition. Sometimes it simply begins by stepping outside and rediscovering the joy of playing on Playground Earth.
