H&M have brought in Brazilian content creator and style visionary Livia Nunes Marques for their summer collection.
The collection is a 20-piece drop of ready-to-wear and accessories that captures the content creator’s signature world. One with playful luxury, bold contrasts and an unapologetic sense of self.
Marques said she always dresses for herself and for the feeling rather than the moment.
Collaborating with H&M’s design team had been an inspiring experience of doing just that, according to her.
“I wanted to bring my personal style and whole self to the collection: the girl from Brazil, the creator, the woman who created her own trends,” explained Marques.
“I hope every woman feels that same freedom when they wear the pieces.”
H&M Concept Designer Malin Dubois said Marques carried a rare energy.
“She’s playful and serious at once, raw and refined,” added Dubois.
“She knows exactly what she wants, and she brought that clarity to every decision in the collection. The result is something that truly reflects her world – bold and soft in design, structured and flowing, all at the same time.”
The Livia Nunes H&M collection was built around creative tension.
It features a range of dresses, including a black cut-out maxi-dress, a sheer, dark-brown, flowing halter-neck dress, and lingerie-inspired pieces like a lace-trimmed slip dress, along with a romper, bloomers, and a camisole top.
The dresses are contrasted with a tuxedo shirt, tailored skirt and capris.
There was also a Guipure lace maxiskirt and matching top in the collection
Accessories included an oversized zebra-print bag, black pearl-like jewellery, and a Guipure lace scarf.
The key fabrics used in the collection were chiffon for lightness and movement, lace and satin for femininity, and cotton and Guipure lace for a contemporary edge.
The colour palette was deliberately restrained: soft whites, beiges, greys, and black with touches of blush. Powder blue adds a fresh accent, while zebra print delivers graphic, high-contrast energy.
